New apartments and existential dread.

So, the last time we did this four years ago, I posted a triumphant photo of the new place the day I got the keys. It felt like a windfall and a miracle. It felt like an upgrade - for less money! A bright spot during a Pandemic!

Then, after a year and a half, the Apartment complex changed hands. And the new management company left a lot to be desired. Really, there were so many reasons to leave before the one that ended up being the reason that we actually left, if that makes sense.

Now, the current move is over and I'm just tired. I'm glad we got this place, and I feel grateful - but it was so much, so fast, and I'm feeling really overwhelmed.

I've moved a bunch of stuff, just to realize that a lot of it really just needs to be donated or purged, after already having donated/purged a lot. (And thank you, flamingsword for helping so much!)

And there are issues with the new place, all of which fall underneath the umbrella of "The Landlord Special." But we're dealing with those.
