Yahoogroups will not upload new content after October 21 and is going away for good this December.

People have until December 14 to archive stuff. After that, bunch of early internet fandom history is about to go away forever.

I am only getting updates from one Yahoogroup which is still active: the old Buckaroo Banzai mailing list. Other than that, I have been off Yahoogroups more or less since I got Livejournal.

Nevertheless, I get weird and sentimental about things like this. Goodbye, Yahoogroups, and thanks for the memories.
