I basically just learned that Patrick Wilson is in Aquaman, doing his Patrick Wilson thing (click to enlarge.)



I am supposed to see it with my Mom at some point, but I feel like I need to jump in my car right now and drive to the theater based on this image alone.

Has anyone seen it yet?

EDIT: I feel like P Wils was the best Dan ever, and no one could Dan better than he could, but the trailers make me think he maybe should have been Adrian instead.

Patrick Wilson as Dan was perfect, I agree!
I haven't seen Aquaman yet, but I want to. In fact it's the first superhero movie in quite some time that I feel excited about and would like to see on the big screen, instead of just waiting until the DVD is out. The movie looks so... FUN in capital letters. Someone compared it to a Saturday morning cartoon in the sense that it is cheesy with lots of screaming and posturing, but also an absolute blast. Jason Momoa certainly looks like he enjoyed every minute onscreen. Also, considering the majority of roles I've seen Wilson in, I'm curious to see how he does as a villain. (I've seen Hard Candy, but that was a very different genre of film, so...)

Jason Momoa is freaking awesome and Patrick Wilson is amazing and freaking awesome and Amber Heard's performance makes me hope she is in a bunch of more things. Nicole Kidman is awesome as ever, but then it's Nicole Kidman.

I'm going through the list of local cinemas and am flabbergasted that most of them either don't show Aquaman anymore, or late at night. I don't know if it's just me, or if movies actually stay in theatres for a shorter time than they used to. Fingers crossed I can go to a screening on Friday. It'll be the german dub, unfortunately, but I feel that even more would get lost if I saw it on a small screen. So I'll take what I can get!
