Don't you think that's setting the bar a bit high? For being a sapiens species, so much that we've got it in our taxonomy repeated, humans don't live up to that as often as the label implies.

It is so fantastic, I was awake so long last night listening to everything I could get my ears on. And today I’ve been listening to allll the political commentary and gloating.

Magyar isn’t a great guy but he’s the guy they have that would beat Orban and he’s stuffed him so badly the Russians couldn’t even try and cheat and pretend it had been fixed. Hes way too right wing for me, but he’s pro-EU (alas, brexit! *cries*) and anti-corruption and Russia, and JD Vance murders everything he goes near, from Popes to Orban’s failing chances of election…

Exactly. And this is exactly how I felt about Biden in 2020: maybe not the best candidate or the best person, maybe he was a little old, but he was the guy who could beat Trump in 2020.
