Begun, the Social Media Wars have.
Well, this development has at least been amusing.
Threads signups are really taking off. And look, ElonMuskjet is back on Threads! Nature is healing!
I'm not sure what to think about Threads. The good news is, Zuckerberg is winning the Social Media Wars. The bad news is, Zuckerberg is winning the Social Media Wars.
I was hearing from people I trust that Threads was already inundated with fash assholes, but the people I know who are actually using it haven't encountered that yet. I'm still on the fence. I don't want to give Mark Zuckerberg more of my soul than he already has.

Also of all the evil tech billionaires Dorsey seems the least evil so I'm on Bluesky for now and my little social media-averse brain can only take so many Twitter clones.
