In non Hellraiser news,

I finally got my physical and bloodwork done for the year! My bloodsugar, kidney, and liver function are all normal. My iron is not low at the moment. However, I need to start watching my cholesterol, and my vitamin D is hella low. So I guess I need to cut out even more red meat/trans fats/processed fats. I got D supplements. But overall, I'm just glad I'm doing as well as I am as we are nearly done with year two of Covid Lockdown.

OH! And I got my Pfizer booster. So, yay!

Considering these bullshit times, I daresay all that is worthy of pride! (I've been trying to cram more iron into me.)

There’s actually not much evidence that dietary cholesterol has a big effect on blood cholesterol. Basically if you eat fish to get your good cholesterol up, and avoid foods that spike your triglycerides (unless you’re carb loading before exercise) then your heart health will be fine, according to the well replicated studies.
