Ooh, this seems like a good thing to show to my class! I blew their minds when I told them that purple wasn't real.

Yeah. I mean, as someone who works in printer support, we were told "oh the real primary colors are Y, C, and M" which is why the printer cartridges are those colors. Stuff like this is really interesting.
