This is part of its appeal. Listening to this took me right back to 1980s, when this kind of music was everywhere in department stores and places like K Mart. There was also a radio station (107.5 on the dial) that played this kind of music back when it was just called "Smooth Jazz," and who would also have an electronica show on Sundays that played stuff by artists like Wendy Carlos (responsible for the original TRON OST.) They vanished from DFW-area radio around the year 2006 - but apparently they still exist online, in streaming format. This is why I need Sirius.
