For those of you who don't already know: [livejournal.com profile] rishgrrl has a four-year-old daughter named Trinity. Well, today, Trinity decided to make a necklace out of a shoelace and a spoon. She came up and put it around her mother's neck, kind of like a Matrixy lei. 0.o

She could be picking all of this up subconsciously...we are all fangeeks here. Hrmm....

EDIT: Now all of the posts in which Trinity is described doing something Matrixy have "the matrix has trinity" tags. XD

I am SOOOOO not used to having whole weekends off! :) But hey, I can GET used to it!

Well, I took [livejournal.com profile] rishgrrl's three-year-old daughter Trinity up to daycare this morning. Her safety-seat was in the back with some A+, Linux, and other miscellaneous computery-type books. As I was unbuckling her safety-seat (she was already out of the car and standing beside me) I thought it might be amusing to see the expressions of the other adults in the parking lot if I pulled out one of the books and said,

"Hey wait, Trin...you forgot your MCSE training manual!"

So if she winds up cracking the IRS D-base in about 20 years...you'll know where it all got started. XD

I may or may not go skating tonight. But I'm really exhausted. My Mom wants me to visit her at a dog show in Denton tomorrow ("Denton, Denton, Rah Rah Rah...") and there is also the prospect of gaming later in the day. This game, to be specific:

Question of the week:

Have you ever felt nostalgic for a specific restaurant, or a part of town you grew up in? I have been craving the cuisine at La Calle Doce, a local TexMex eatery. There's one in Lakewood, part of Dallas's scenic "Gheyborhood." It's a little bit too expensive and classy for a casual dining experience, but then my birthday is only two months away. I can wait.
