I agree! My angst in particular is coming from the fact that we don't know what actual Druidry was. We only have blurbs from outsiders, and no history from an insider's perspective. And those outsiders were biased. anything that exists now is a recreation based on people's imaginings of what Druidry was like. Like, I'm not pining for human sacrifice to make a comeback. But it would be nice to know anything from an insider's perspective. Supposedly chunks of it were preserved in the Welsh and Irish Bardic traditions, which fortunately we do have written records of.
