A Real Post

So I messed up my back last Saturday while I was cleaning my closet.

When I didn't start to feel better around Thursday or so, I went to the doctor. They gave me Turbo Ibuprofen and a muscle relaxer. They did X Rays.

They told me that I'm developing arthritis in my spine, and it's already pretty advanced.

So Turbo Ibuprofen may be a reoccurring theme in my near future. (Along with Pepcid, because I've given myself an ulcer before.)

I've had two very bad anxiety attacks in the past week and a half.

I spent most of my weekend playing Baldur's Gate 3 and doing laundry.

*sighs like an incipient hurricane*

Some places to start:
https://health.clevelandclinic.org/anti-inflammatory-diet

https://www.verywellhealth.com/top-joint-supplements-2549657 - if you start taking SAM-e, be advised that it is also a mild antidepressant so combined with other antidepressants it can cause stomach upset and anxiety from having too much serotonin.

https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/nerve-flossing#summary - there are different movements for the different spinal nerves, so if you know where the specific joints are that are getting the arthritis, then I highly recommend doing those corresponding movements.

Good luck, and if you have questions about something written in Biological Science-ese, lmk and I will translate if needed.

Solidarity, fam.

Yusss, eat all the tasty garlics and cherries and cantaloupes! But maybe skip the tomatoes and eggplants, since apparently solanines can be bad for joint inflammation. 😢 Boo.
