Trying to get away from that kind of BS feels like an endless moving target. I'm mostly off google drive, but not completely- I shifted to dropbox, but my HOA still uses a gmail box for everything (don't ask, oh god) but even if I trust dropbox, it still uses google sheets to offer viewing/editing spreadsheets so I ended up throwing my spreadsheets back into google. I hate that it's fairly technical and/or expensive to shift away from some of these companies (though ffs Adobe costs enough that people using it shouldn't ALSO be the product).

This is not a comment so much as it's a rant, sorry.
