1/2 cup salted butter, melted
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup dark brown sugar
1 large eggs room temperature
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon almond extract
1 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Whisk ingredients together. Separate or scoop into 2 inch balls 2 inches apart on a baking sheet. Bake at 350 for 9 minutes. I was playing around with a recipe trying to get something like birthday cake cookies, but ended up with something like those lacy European cookies that are sometimes partially dipped in chocolate? So I might do that next.
