I've had a site under that name since mid-2007. I never really did anything with it after 2012, except for a few cosmetic tweaks, and a blog that has mostly been incorporated into this one. At this point I can get a cheaper plan than the one I had, and I'm tempted to do that and relaunch under another name, for a series of reasons, some of which I explored here.

The yahoogroup was created after an embarrassing flounce from the Silver Elves group around 18 years ago, when I was a lot younger and a lot dumber, and had a chip on my shoulder. I'm not proud of it now. :(

I have been in some of those circles as well, or was at one point, and Cyber Alfheim was really a reboot of my old sites going back to batcave.net and Homestead. But there was some baggage associated with the old site that I was really tired of carrying around for nearly two decades now, and I decided to make a fresh start.
