Yeah, and it's because the people you care about seeing it and responding to it are likely the ones going to do so. It feels more like a conversation than just shouting something into the void, like Tumblr, Twitter, etc. do. And it doesn't have Facebook's malicious algorithms trying to drive advertising or foment discord.
